I was born and raised in a family with a class and style. My mom was the epitome of elegance. She had a chic taste that reflected in all her belongings. Her friends always wanted to mimic her style. Having inherited her taste and modishness has helped me shape my business.

I have always wanted to do something for the environment and help preserve the natural beauty of our mother nature. My passion grew stronger when I saw the rich handicrafts made by artisans in India. The gift essentials I saw were so elegant, chic and yet so somber that they took my breath away. I thought to myself what could be better than promoting these eco friendly handicrafts. And that’s how Colored Threadz came into being. It signifies tying the threads between the artisans, their colorful handicrafts and the consumer who appreciates and supports their effort. What started as a very humble initiative to promote rich elegant eco friendly handicrafts has grown into a full blown business of handcrafted gift essentials.

There are so many artisans and each and every handicraft is worth promoting but till I reach that critical mass I hand select the items and only a few elegant items make it to the esteemed designer collection of Colored Threadz.
